Membership is a rich and varied outlet for intellectual energies that simultaneously provides the opportunity to meet and share opinions with like-minded peers. Membership provides the interface between the Community around Chestertown and the intellectual stimulus of the College, to the mutual advantage of both.
WC-ALL is open to anyone with intellectual curiosity and a willingness to engage in its pursuit. You may bring with you ideas for topics which you would like to study (or teach); you may become a discussion leader; you are encouraged to take part in the work of committees from curriculum-building, to publicizing events, to planning and carrying out group activities.
Annual Membership begins in the fall of each year and includes registration for courses in any of our four sessions:
- Early Fall
- Late Fall
- Early Spring
- Late Spring
An Associate Membership is available for $30 per academic year which entitles an Associate to receive all mailings and to pay the reduced member fee for Learn at Lunches and special events; no course participation is included in this category.
To become a member and register for courses, go to Membership Fees & On-Line Course Registration.
Tuition assistance in the form of an "ALLship" may be available on a case by case basis. Send a written request to the WC-ALL office to apply.
WC-ALL is currently located at the Alumni House, corner of Campus and Washington Avenues. Due to renovations planned in 2008, the office will temporarily be moved to 510 Washington Ave. The phone number will remain the same.
