BRUSHWORK FROM BAMBOO TO BLOSSOMS
Experience the mystery, meaning, and method of painting in the oriental style. The presentation includes a brief description of the origin and development of this ancient art. Basic brush strokes will be explained; ink stick and stone, rice paper, traditional Chinese brushes and other painting materials will be displayed and discussed.

Participants will be treated to a half-day adventure on the Chester River aboard the skipjack Elsworth to discover our area and the Chester River.
